Attention:?This article is for people who understand what they do. You can damage reader and memory chip with wrong actions!

Adapter modification

Find two pin connector and jumper

Drill holes for it in pcb (d=1mm)
Remove trace between holes

Remove varnish from traces by sides

Put connector in holes
And bend his legs

Solder legs to traces
Attention:?Do not put solder on gold adapter contacts. You can lost your adapter at this step

To use reader power, put jumper on connector
To use external power, remove jumper

Using external power

Solder power wires to capacitor
3.3V is near white line on capacitor

Remove jumper
Attach adapter to external power source

Memory chip supply current usualy about 10mA (0.01A) or less
If current is much bigger, immediately turn power off

Attention:?Safe voltage range for reader is 2.4 .. 3.3V
